Octopus finger post - always showing you the way...

Octopus represents a new generation of finger post sign systems. Tried and tested over many years with hundreds of installations it is no wonder it's the first choice for signmakers and architects alike.

Octopus is suitable for town centres,

business parks, hospital and university

campuses or anywhere that pedestrians

require directions.

External wayfinding schemes require

clear and precise information to

accurately guide pedestrian users, the

Octopus fingerpost system provides

the perfect solution to meet this

requirement.

As well as powder coated, Octopus can be overclad with 100mm diameter grade 316 brushed stainless steel. This design allows the bottom part of the post below the fingers to be slid off and replaced without the need to dig the post out of the ground. Ideal in town centres, universities etc where vandalism may occur or just through damage as bikes are locked to them! As well as brushed, the post can also be supplied in a shot peened finish.

Octopus is supplied with extended post

legs and cross studs as standard, to

set into a concrete footing. A footplate

option is also available to allow the

sign to be fitted to a root cage or

with chemical anchor bolts.

Bespoke finials can be added to give your fingerpost a unique look.

Octopus can be given a ‘heritage’

makeover by accessorising with;

optional post collars, a wider post

column, a traditional finial and

chevron style fingers. It is possible to

have contemporary functionality in a

fingerpost with a traditional appearance.

Octopus is an engineered product,

constructed from robust aluminium

extrusions. Octopus has eight fixing

positions on each collar and up to five

collars can be stacked on top of each

other. This makes Octopus the perfect directional sign to meet any urban or

campus wayfinding requirements.

Standard Octopus fingers are square at the end and 900mm long. They can also be made with chevron or rounded ends or to bespoke designs as needed. Fingers come as 100mm high and also at 125mm high - ideal for when two languages are needed. The system can be supplied in mill finish for you to paint or powder coated in a range of RAL classic colours.

Alternatively fingers can be supplied cut from 6mm aluminium allowing for the provision to include pictograms or logos into them.

A large stock of materials helps for faster turnarounds enabling you to get that next project done by the deadline.

With many sub assemblies already on the shelf for those jobs that are required extra quick!
